INK PRINTING #3

This is my third print I made during class. I think it came out much better than the others, because as I went along, I started to understand more about how the colors came together when added one at a time. I also got to the point where I didn't need any help with the press, which was fun too. I wish I could accurately describe this big manual machine. It kinda looks like it has a ships steering wheel on it, which is what you use to make the roller go. On the table you put down a piece of newsprint, then your paper, then the plexiglass, another piece of paper, and then this giant piece of felt that looks like a little mattress. Then you turn the wheel to make it press out the print. We repeated this process with three colors, one at a time....
