MUSIC #2

Here is the second treatment for the bass player image. I tend to like this one a little better. I don't play any musical instruments myself, but I have always been particularly fascinated by those who do. So far for this series I have a drummer, this bass player, and a trumpet player. I would like to add a saxophone image, and maybe even a vocalist. I have certainly had a lot of fun working on them, and I can never really say for sure when I feel like a piece is actually "finished." Who knows, maybe I will get them all to that point and be able to sell them for enough cash to pick up some of my very own Branson real estate. I could run off to the mountains and hermit myself up and keep making more art! Oh how nice that would be!

WORKING ON A SERIES

I love art in most forms, but my very first love has always been music. Quite by accident I began a series of art pieces on musicians. I don't know if I like this one as much as the the trumpet player, it kinda reminds me of led tail lights you would find on a car with the way it's lit up. I have given it another treatment though that I think I like a little better. I will post it on top of this post if anyone wants to send a little feedback my way! :)

YELLOW AND PURPLE COMPLIMENTARY

I created this digital painting for an assignment in my Art Appreciation class. It is an example of the complimentary colors yellow and purple on the color wheel.
So maybe this is what you would get if you tried to paint with Ingersoll Rand air tools?
Not a great work of art, but a completed assignment at least.....

THE PRICE OF SKINNY
The Hoodia ingredient in Miracle burn is 100% Certified Organic Hoodia from South Africa. I wonder if it is a magic plant. I wonder if it will make me skinny. If I were thinner, would people take me more seriously? Would I get a better job? Would I feel better about myself? At what cost do I want to be skinny? Random thoughts on a Saturday...

DIGITAL PAINTING

"Riley Renae"
This started as a regular photo of my little one, who was completely covered in dirt! I took the photo into photoshop, removed the dirt, and used a few different filters to achieve the painted look. I ended up really liking it, so I made a huge print for my living room.
